ExposeIQ Security
Your Trust Is Our Priority
ExposeIQ’s robust security and compliance practices are designed to meet the highest regulatory standards, ensuring your firm’s sensitive data stays protected.
Trial attorneys, litigation teams, and corporate counsel rely on the platform with deposition transcripts, discovery materials, bodycam and surveillance video, expert reports, work product, and other confidential client information. We apply the same precision, discipline, and accountability to the protection of that information that we apply to the intelligence we deliver.
Enterprise-grade security
Enterprise-Grade Security
End-to-end encryption
All data is protected with end-to-end encryption in transit and at rest. Encryption is applied from the moment materials are uploaded and remains in place throughout processing, human verification, and delivery of results.
Encryption keys are managed separately from the underlying data, and the architecture is designed to limit the scope of exposure even in the event of a system-level incident.
Protected data pipeline
ExposeIQ employs a protected data pipeline so that case materials move through a controlled environment from upload to final output. The pipeline is structured to reduce intermediate exposure points and to maintain consistent security controls across document, transcript, and video processing.
Controlled access and audit logging
Access is restricted through controlled access and granular team permissioning. Role-based controls limit visibility to authorized users on each specific matter. Administrative functions are segregated, and multi-factor authentication is supported for all users.
Every material action performed within the platform is recorded in a time-stamped audit log that firm administrators can review. These logs support internal governance, client inquiries, and, where necessary, responses to regulatory or investigative requests.
Compliance standards
Compliance Standards
ExposeIQ maintains practices aligned with HIPAA requirements for the protection of protected health information and supports AICPA SOC standards. These frameworks address the expectations of corporate legal departments and their outside counsel when handling confidential client data under applicable rules of professional conduct.
The controls are designed to help firms meet their professional obligations of confidentiality and competence. Data handling practices are documented, access is limited to those with a legitimate need, and retention and deletion procedures can be aligned with the firm’s own policies and the specific terms of an engagement.
The platform is structured to support firms that must demonstrate appropriate safeguards to sophisticated clients, regulators, or opposing parties in complex commercial, white-collar, and high-stakes litigation matters.
Deployments & access
Flexible Deployments and Access Controls
The platform supports flexible deployments to fit a firm’s environment, security requirements, and operational preferences. Team permissioning allows administrators to define and adjust access at the firm, practice group, matter, or individual user level. Permissions can be modified as team composition changes or as a matter progresses through different phases of litigation or investigation.
This structure is particularly relevant in complex commercial and white-collar matters, where multiple attorneys, specialists, and support personnel may require controlled access to different portions of the record without unnecessary exposure of the full file. Multi-factor authentication is supported, and all material activity is logged for full auditability.

Human verification
Human Verification of AI Output
- Proprietary software & AISurfaces discrepancies, timelines, video findings, and juror insights
- Mandatory human verificationReviewed by qualified personnel
- Actionable intelligencePresented only after review
- Attorney judgmentUltimate professional responsibility stays with the firm’s licensed attorneys
ExposeIQ combines proprietary software and artificial intelligence with mandatory human verification. Material outputs — including discrepancy flags, timeline entries, video analysis results, and juror insights — are reviewed by qualified personnel before they are presented as actionable intelligence. This process reduces the risk of unsupported or incomplete conclusions and keeps ultimate professional responsibility with the firm’s licensed attorneys.
- Discrepancy flags
- Timeline entries
- Video analysis results
- Juror insights
For corporate clients and their counsel, this hybrid approach provides a documented layer of human oversight that purely automated systems do not offer. It supports both the defensibility of the work product and the exercise of professional judgment that sophisticated clients expect from their outside counsel.
Matter isolation
Matter Isolation
Each case or engagement is logically isolated. Users see only the matters for which they have been granted access. There is no cross-matter visibility of client data. When a matter concludes, authorized firm personnel can direct the retention, export, or deletion of data in accordance with the firm’s retention schedule and the terms of the agreement with ExposeIQ.
Client case data is not used to train general-purpose models and is not shared across unrelated matters or clients.Analysis is performed solely for the specific engagement authorized by the firm.

Video & document handling
Video and Document Handling
Video Intelligence footage
Bodycam, dashcam, and surveillance footage uploaded for Video Intelligence is processed within the same protected data pipeline as other materials. Source files remain under the firm’s control and are not permanently altered by the analysis process. Searchable clips, timestamps, and related findings are generated as work product that can be reviewed, exported, or discarded according to the firm’s instructions.
Documents and transcripts
Document and transcript uploads follow the same encryption, access control, and logging standards. The platform is designed to support the chain-of-custody and evidentiary considerations that arise in litigation without replacing the firm’s own protocols for handling original evidence. Analysis results can be exported in formats suitable for internal review or for production consistent with the firm’s discovery and work-product practices.
Transparency & control
Transparency and Control
You remain in control of your data. Authorized users can review activity logs, manage team permissioning, and request data export or deletion consistent with the agreement governing use of the platform. These capabilities are intended to support internal firm governance and to assist counsel when responding to client security questionnaires, outside counsel guidelines, or regulatory inquiries.
Client case data is not used to train general models or shared across unrelated matters. The firm retains the ability to direct the handling of its data throughout the engagement and at its conclusion.
